Students miles better off with regular excercise

The Daily Mile programme begins in its first college to boost fitness nation wide. Borders College has won plaudits for becoming the first institution in the further education sector to take up The Daily Mile challenge.

The initiative, that started in primary schools as a way to make young children more active, has received praise for the positive behavioural, health and well-being benefits that have been clearly demonstrated from student’s engagement in regular exercise.
