Following the death of Sylvia Anderson, creator with her husband Gerry of the stilted, string-bound but almost impossibly exciting Thunderbirds, Stingray and my own favourite, now clocking up its third random mention in this column, Fireball XL5, the question has to be asked: “Who’s going to save our kids now?”
